Believing in the great importance of the principles of the Human Fraternity Document (HFD) that promote the values of peace and fraternity, Dr. Nahla As-Saidi, Head of the Center of Education Development for Envoys and Foreign Students (CEDEFS), Dean of Al-Azhar College of Islamic Sciences for Foreign Students, met with the members of the “Fraternal Relationship and Human Tie” program to study the rules and strategies, which have been put into place in order to operationalize the HFD values. This process aims to enhance the awareness of Al-Azhar students with the values and principles of the HFD by incorporating its matrix of values in Al-Azhar institutes’ educational system.
Dr. As-Saidi, the main supervisor of the program, stated that the program came in response to the demands of the HFD to promote the values of peace and fraternity in all educational institutions. The program also aims to make the HFD a subject of research and reflection, to teach its matrix of values, and to make it a sustainable behavioral practice for the future generations. This sincere effort comes out of the aim of the CEDEFS to provide the humanity with messengers of peace who can promote the true values of religion all over the world.
