His Eminence the Grand Imam of Al-Azhar, Prof. Ahmed Al-Tayeb, extends his heartfelt congratulations and sincere best wishes to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and to His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA), on the successful completion of this year’s Hajj (pilgrimage to Mecca) season.
The Grand Imam expressed his deep appreciation for the tremendous efforts exerted by the KSA in serving pilgrims and for the extensive facilities, services, and arrangements provided to them, which enabled them to perform their rituals in an atmosphere of security, tranquility, and ease.
The Grand Imam affirmed that the outstanding organization and advanced services witnessed throughout the holy sites reflect the KSA’s enduring commitment to caring for the Two Holy Mosques and serving millions of pilgrims and Umrah performers who visit them each year.
He prayed to Almighty Allah to richly reward all those involved in facilitating services for pilgrims, to bless their noble efforts in serving the pilgrims, to accept the pilgrims’ Hajj and devotion, and to grant them a safe and blessed return to their homelands.
