Grand Imam of Al-Azhar Congratulates President Sisi and Muslim World on Prophet Muhammad’s Birthday

     The Grand Imam of Al-Azhar extends his sincere congratulations to His Excellency President Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Arab Republic of Egypt and the Arab and Muslim nations on the occasion of the birth anniversary of the Prophet Muhammad’s (PBUH); the prophet of mercy and humanity. His eminence prays to Almighty Allah that this blessed occasion would return to the Arab and Muslim nations and the whole humanity with goodness, prosperity, peace and stability. 
The Grand Imam reiterates that his (PBUH) birthday reminds us that he was sent as mercy to mankind, with a divine universal humane message that established the values of mercy, justice and peace and brought humanity from the darkness of injustice to the light of guidance and fairness. He added that our modern world is in dire need of taking guidance from that noble Prophet (PBUH), following onto his morals and life in the face of the pressing conflicts, wars, human and moral crises.
On this blessed occasion, the Grand Imam of Al-Azhar calls upon all Muslims worldwide to make this anniversary a renewable memory to follow his (PBUH) morals and Sunnah, establish the values of mercy, tolerance, and justice, in addition to working on unifying the Muslim stances and words, enhancing solidarity and cooperation between Muslims, refusing causes of stifle and conflict, in a way to help build a better, safe, concerted and merciful communities. 
The Grand Imam supplicates Allah Almighty to bestow security, peace and stability upon Egypt, its people, and all Islamic countries, to forbid humanity wars and conflicts, to bring hearts together, connect words for the good, and to make the Prophet’s (PBUH) birthday a day of prosperity and blessing upon the Arab and Muslim nations and Humanity at large.
