AOCE commemorates the International Day for Tolerance

Every year on November 16th, the world recognizes and commemorates the International Day for Tolerance, reinforcing the idea that tolerance is a virtue that promotes the development of more humane and healthy society rather than a sign of weakness.
In an age marked by rapid developments and growing conflict, tolerance becomes the language of the wise––a bridge that restores mutual confidence among people and enables societies to coexist and advance together.
Tolerance does not entail relinquishing principles; rather, it signifies respecting every human being, regardless of differences in religion, thought or race. It is an awareness that our diversity is a source of enrichment, not a cause for conflict.
Therefore, let us cultivate a culture of dialogue and acceptance of others within our homes, schools and universities. It is tolerant societies that truly progress and thrive.
