Under the auspices of the Grand Imam of Al-Azhar Al-Sharif, Bait al-Zakat “The Egyptian Zakat and Charity House”, announced the delivery of the first batch of humanitarian aid of the 12th aid convoy, as it successfully passed through Rafah Crossing, amidst a severe cold weather wave striking Gaza.
According to Bait al-Zakat, this first batch included tens of thousands of tents delivered to most vulnerable families, who lost their homes due to the enjoining Israeli aggression, as a way to protect them against the severe cold and rain.
Bait al-Zakat added that volunteering teams have set up those tents, and furnished them with essential supplies such as blankets, covers, food, pure water in addition to medical supplies, infant formula, diapers, and self-care essentials, in a bid to provide the minimum humane environment needed for those families deprived of all life constituents.
This batch comes as a continuation of the efforts of the international Help Gaza campaign launched by the Grand Imam and supported by more than 85 countries.
Bait al-Zakat promises to continue providing the humanitarian aid for the people of Gaza and exert every possible effort to alleviate their suffering.
